Gilad Doron
Director of Volleyball
Gilad Doron serves as director of volleyball for IMG Academy. A volleyball coach since 1994, Doron has amassed 247 career victories as an NCAA Division I head coach at Dartmouth College, the University of San Francisco, and Villanova University.
At Dartmouth College (2016-2023), Doron led the program's first back-to-back winning seasons after the COVID-19 pandemic. Before Dartmouth, Doron became the winningest coach in University of San Francisco volleyball history, guiding the Dons to their highest AVCA final poll ranking (No. 22) and an NCAA Tournament appearance, and founded the university's first beach volleyball program. Doron's first NCAA Division I head-coaching job came at Villanova University (2004-2007).
Before his NCAA head-coaching career, Doron served as head coach of Mate Asher Volleyball Club in Israel's top professional league from 1994 to 1996, compiling a 68-22 record, winning the 1994 Israeli Division I Championship, and reaching three consecutive league finals and the 1995 Israeli Cup Final while coaching Israeli National Team players and international athletes from Croatia, the Czech Republic, and Romania. Doron also served as an assistant women's volleyball coach at Temple University (1996-2000) and at the United States Military Academy in 2023, helping lead Army to a Patriot League runner-up finish and the conference's top-ranked defense.
A native of Kibbutz Ein Hamifratz, Israel, Doron competed professionally for 12 years in the Israeli Men's Premier Volleyball League and represented Israel's Men's National Team from 1986 to 1996, finishing fourth at the 1995 FISU World University Games in Fukuoka, Japan. Doron won four Israeli League championships (1987, 1988, 1992, 1994) and two Israeli Cup titles (1987, 1988) with Mate Asher Volleyball Club.
Married to Jennifer Thomas, Doron has a son, Kai. As director of volleyball, Doron supports IMG Academy's mission to empower student-athletes to win their future.

Jaz Mau leads IMG Academy Volleyball as head coach, where Mau has been a team member since 2026.
Mau has coached high school and club volleyball since August 2016, most recently leading Coronado High School's boys and girls programs from August 2024 to May 2026, compiling four state tournament appearances and a combined 106-33 record. In 2025, Mau was named the 5A Nevada State Coach of the Year after guiding the Coronado boys' team to the state championship and the girls' team to a state runner-up finish. Mau also led a struggling 2A program to a conference championship and its first state championship in more than five years in 2021.
In club volleyball, Mau's teams have won multiple USAV and AAU qualifier titles at the Open and USA levels, including a bronze medal at the 2021 USAV 16 Open Nationals and a bronze medal at the 2026 USAV 18 Open Nationals.
Born and raised in Minnesota before moving to Las Vegas in 2017, Mau was a high school standout, winning the 2012 state championship, finishing third in 2014, and earning all-state and all-conference honors. She received college volleyball offers from more than 15 schools.
Mau left Northern State University, where she studied biology, to coach full time. Her coaching philosophy centers on helping student-athletes grow mentally, physically, and emotionally, and on being a mentor as much as a coach. At IMG Academy, Mau focuses on helping student-athletes develop their skills, compete with confidence, and prepare for the next level.

A four-time state champion at Dike-New Hartford High School in Iowa, Morgan also won a national championship with Six-Pack Volleyball Club in 2012 and was ranked the No. 12 player in the 2015 class by PrepVolleyball.com. Morgan played four seasons at the University of Kentucky from 2015 to 2019, earning SEC All-Freshman Team honors in 2015 and Honorable Mention All-American recognition in 2018.
Accountability and treating failure as an opportunity to grow anchor Morgan's coaching philosophy, which centers on developing student-athletes both on and off the court. Morgan also holds a bachelor's degree in communications and family science from the University of Kentucky. At IMG Academy, Morgan focuses on helping student-athletes develop their skills, compete with confidence, and prepare for the next level.

Before joining IMG Academy, Yerardi served as head coach of Graceland University's men's volleyball program and assistant coach for the women's program. He also worked as head assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of South Alabama, where the team started conference play 10-0 and finished the 2017 season with a 57 RPI, and as a volunteer assistant coach at UNLV, helping the team reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Yerardi's coaching career also includes a stint as technical director for DigThis! Volleyball Club.
An all-state setter in high school in 2005, Yerardi holds two bachelor's degrees, in political science and in English with a creative writing focus in poetry, from Arizona State University, and a J.D. from Drake University. He has also worked as a professor and Title IX decision maker at Graceland University, and has trained players including Amanda Benson, who went on to a stint with the USAV National Team, and Hayley Spelman during her professional playing career.
Yerardi's coaching philosophy centers on building technical fundamentals through a systematic approach and developing student-athletes through effective communication and respect. At IMG Academy, Yerardi focuses on helping student-athletes develop their skills, compete with confidence, and prepare for the next level.
